Salary (Pay Scale)
The starting basic pay for SBI CBO is ₹48,480/- in the scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920 plus 2 advance increments. Officers are also eligible for DA, HRA/Lease Rental, CCA, PF, NPS, Medical Facilities, LFC and other allowances as per SBI rules.

Selection Process
The SBI CBO Selection Process consists of the following stages:

Exam Pattern
Objective Test (120 Marks, 2 Hours)
- English Language: 30 Marks
- Banking Knowledge: 40 Marks
- General Awareness/Economy: 30 Marks
- Computer Aptitude: 20 Marks
Descriptive Test (50 Marks, 30 Minutes)
- Letter Writing & Essay (English Language)
Final merit list will be prepared with 75% weightage to Online Test and 25% weightage to Interview.
Local Language Requirement
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the circle they are applying for. Those who studied the local language in Class 10th or 12th are exempted from the language test.
