South Eastern Railway has released the official notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices for 2025-, inviting online applications from eligible Indian candidates. A total of 3173 Apprentice vacancies are available in various trades across Workshops and Units under SER. The online application process starts on 18 November 2025 and the last date to apply online is 17 December 2025 (5:00 PM).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• 10th Pass (Matriculation) with minimum 50% marks
• ITI Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum Age: 15 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: +5 years
• OBC: +3 years
• PwD: +10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per rules (service period + 3 years)

Medical Fitness

Candidates must be physically fit as per Apprentices Act, 1961 norms.
Medical certificate must be issued by a Government Medical Officer (Gazetted).

Salary (Stipend)

Stipend will be paid as per Apprenticeship Rules and Railway Board norms.
